Stephenson Service Company was organized on August 20, 1930 under
the provisions of "The Agricultural Cooperative Act". The mission then as is
remains today it to improve the long-term profitability of our members, customers, and
owners. The mission is accomplished through the many products our company provides to
customers, by being on the cutting edge of services available, by maintaining high quality
personnel, and combining these resources  to bring profitable solutions
to our customers and member-owners.You are not required to be a member of
our cooperative to purchase products or services. However, by being a Farm Bureau Member
you are then a member of our cooperative and are eligible to receive patronage refunds
based upon the among of business conducted and the profitability of the company over the
past year. Stephenson Service Company since it's founding in 1930 has paid back to its
members a total of $17,581,233.54.
Stephenson Service Company serves our customer base in Jo Daviess and Stephenson
counties in Northwest Illinois and has facilities in the following communities: Elizabeth,
Stockton, Lena, Pearl City, Rock Grove, Freeport, and Ridott. The corporate office is
located in Freeport.
